Description

All PAX Unplugged events require a PAX Unplugged badge to participate

You must have already qualified in either an Energon Open, Last Chance Trial, or at your local store. If you have not received an email from Wizards of the Coast about your invitation please contact us at info@pastimes.net

Swiss - 9 rounds. 

Rounds 1-2: Constructed

Rounds 3-5: Sealed (3 War for Cybertron: Siege I Boosters & 3 War for Cybertron: Siege II Boosters)

Rounds 6-9: Constructed

Top 8 will be played on Sunday using the Constructed format.

For all Constructed portions players must use the same deck!

Online Constructed Decklist Submission is mandatory for this event by Friday, December 6th Midnight local time (EST)! 

Decklists can be submitted here.

The Sealed portion will be using decklists and will be following this procedure:

  • Sealed Deck registration seating will be randomized.
  • Each player is distributed six booster packs (3 War for Cybertron: Siege I Boosters & 3 War for Cybertron: Siege II Boosters). The boosters will be marked in a way that distinguishes they came from the tournament organizer for that event.
  • Players on one side of each table open their boosters (Player A). The player directly across (Player B) observes this. Both players will observe and verify the contents of those boosters. After this process, the opened cards are stacked face down in a single pile and placed near Player B.
  • Player B will now open their boosters. Player A observes. Both players will observe and verify the contents. After this process, the opened cards are stacked face down in a single pile and placed near Player A.
  • Player A then registers the contents of Player B's pool, and vice versa.
  • After registration, each player returns the registered card pool to the player who originally opened the pool.
  • Players build and record decks as normal.
Prizes

1st: $3000, Collaborate with the Wizards of the Coast Transformers TCG team to design a Transformers TCG character card (subject to terms and conditions), Transformers Generations War for Cybertron Titan WFC-S29 Omega Supreme, and Wave One Energon Edition

2nd: $2000, Transformers Generations War for Cybertron Titan WFC-S29 Omega Supreme, and Wave One Energon Edition

3rd-4th: $1500, Transformers Generations War for Cybertron Titan WFC-S29 Omega Supreme, and Wave One Energon Edition

5th-8th: $1000, Transformers Generations War for Cybertron Commander WFC-S28 Jetfire, and Wave One Energon Edition

9th-16th: $500 

17th-32nd: $250
